Game Input MultipleXer

I m making a new post becuase it s a new problem with a different computer.

Problems start soon, PS4 is turned on, I turn off my controller, then i connect it by cable to the PC.
Now if I turn on the controller, it will control my PC! It doesnt link to the PS4 anymore, it open Steam on my pc.
If I open the GIMX launcher and click check it say " all config seems ok", but when i press "start" it say error: no USB to serial device selected.
In the launcher I cant see anything clickble on Port. Its empty.

Windows 10 to PS4.
Where is the problem now? Can anyone help?

Do you have USB adapter? It is required.

Please post a log file since you did not mention gimx adapter.

Hi i have the same error. PS4 Controller is connected to the laptop with an usb cable.

ok i fixed it, you need to restart your pc. And with restart i mean literally the option "Restart". A shutdown in Windows 10 does not really restart the machine. It's more of a hibernate. After the restart everything worked as expected.
