G920 on GT Sport has crazy movement

Post by Jonbeez »

Finally got my G920 to work in the GT Sport menus and stuff, the pedals work fine, but as soon as i enter a race, the wheel uncontrollably glitches around and I can't take control of it?
All I get in the log as soon as i press the PS button is 'warning skipping unsupported command default_spring_on'. Help please!

I see nothing wrong in the log file. Did you adjust wheel range using Logitech Gaming Software? Log says it is set to 900 degrees in GT Sport.

Oh! So do I need it set to 900 on LGS? I have it set to 360 usually and don't like 900. Will I have to have it at 900 for it to work?

You can alternatively adjust wheel range to 360 degress in GT Sport settings.

I tried to find where to do that, and I couldn't find that option anywhere. All I could do was change the button layout

Then you'll have to make your wheel range match in-game wheel range.

EDIT: you can also try decreasing FFB strength using gimx-config.
