gimx.exe stops responding after being inactive for 5 seconds

Post by UrInternetGF »

I looked around on the forums and it seems this issue was supposed to be fixed in the current build, but I suddenly started getting it after months of gimx working just fine for me. I thought it started happening because I upgraded to 7.9 but it still happens after I downgraded to 7.5.

Please check if you have Task Manager running in background. We had similar issue with it.

Try to disable USB Selective Suspend Setting in Power Options.

When this happens to me I just close gimx, unplug the adapter on both sides and the controller, plug the adapter into the Xbox then into the laptop, and finally plug in the controller and start the software.
