Issue with gimx / Momo / PS4 and Project Cars

Hello,

i have bought last week the gimx adapter in the official shop.
I have an old Logitech Momo Racing wheel, a PS4 and a Dell Latitude E6400 Notebook with Windows 10 with latest updates.
I selected the config "LogitechMomoRacing_G29".
PS4 Controller was disconnected from PS4 before.
After starting the gimx launcher and pressing the PS button on the controller everything looks fine.
I can see the G29 in "Project Cars" in the controller setup. Wheel and pedals working.
I start a racing. Wheel, gas and brake, also FFB, working perfectly.
But after few second, or first crash with the car, i'm loosing the control. I'm no longer able to use the Momo wheel.
In the log i see some messages:

Warning: 1540729431.196993 unhandled packet (type=0x00)
Warning: 1540729431.200190 unhandled packet (type=0x20)

Link to logfile: https://pastebin.com/idz7RSnM

The only way to recover is closing the gimx.exe and start it again.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hello,

Does the gimx windows stay when you can't control the game anymore or it closes?

Does game still responds to DS4 when gimx stops getting input from Steering Wheel?

Are you sure you are doing it right? Correct procedure:
  • Turn off DS4 completely. Long PS Press->Devices->Turn off device->Dualshock 4
  • Connect off DS4 to PC and other peripherials
  • Connect adapter to PS4 and PC
  • Run gimx

yes, i'm doing it in this exact way.
Can drive few seconds and after few brakes, gas and curves it stops responding and i see a lot of these "unhandled packet" messages.

I don't know if I understood your "yes" correctly. Is this answer to "Does game still responds to DS4 when gimx stops getting input from Steering Wheel?"?

sorry for confusing.
the "yes" means the way how i connect all the things.

I forgot to answer your first question.
The answer is no. The DS4 is also no longer responding to the game.

I also replaced all cables. All the power savings checked (all off) and little bit fairy dust. But nothing helps.

Hmm I ran out of ideas. You will need to wait until @Matlo replies, he may know what's wrong.

Make sure to use the cable provided with the adapter to connect the adapter to the PS4. And make sure it is fully inserted into the micro usb plug.

I use the cable which was provided together with the adapter.
And it is all correctly connected. The adapter has two lights on, red and green.
It is working at all, but unfortunately only few seconds in the game „project cars“.
