Ok I will try that. Unfortunately I only have a Mac so I am not able to run gimx on windows, is there and thing I could run on my rpi that would work better, like Ubuntu or other softwares?

Please respond if you make any headway. Or if you think that this will be a long term problem, let me know if I should return my controller as it has a broken trigger so it’s usless to me.

Is your mac able to boot from a Live USB Linux? If yes, please try with Ubuntu 18.04.

Do you know if I could boot Ubuntu on my rpi? Or just the Mac.
Edit: I think I’m going to try to do Ubuntu core on my rpi.

What kind of hub do you use? If you type dmesg. Does the USB logs say some simular to "usb 1-1.1: reset full-speed usb device number x ..usb_otg"
If you try the XOnePad config and unplug any hubs and keyboard/mouses. Same problem?

Ummm Wdym, I don’t use a usb hub. Where should I type dmesg?

Well when I got everything set up on my Ubuntu, I needed to do something on the Mac so I restarted my computer and did what I needed to do and then went back to Ubuntu, but when I got there I had deleted everything that I had previously made
and I don’t want to have to re do everything when I switch

I also tried to install ubuntu core on my rpi but it doesn’t let me login properly, would Ubuntu snappy work better?
