hi folks,
in gimx i load the Logitechg27_g29.xml - it all works, however it doesn't map all the buttons and doesn't have the full rotation range of the wheel either, nor do i have full pedal range - the pedals are at 100% when only half pressed. do i need to change settings of the xml file or add linux drivers for the wheel etc? it used to work wonderfully till i messed with the os and broke it. i installed the os again with gimx etc but it's never worked the same since?

ok, so i've got the wheel where all the buttons are detected. in gimx, i don't have an option to map a button on the g27 to the enter button for the g29? do any of the releases have the enter button as an option?

Hello,

In the "Button" tab, there is an "enter" entry at the very bottom of the "Button" drop-down menu.
Open your config with gimx-config, and check that "G29 PS4" is selected in the "Type" menu.

thanks, that's great - i was using older versions of gimx, and some button entries were not in the list.
i have the wheel working and appears stable with firmware 4.1 of my pi. but the wheel doesn't move all 900º, i only have about 360º.
the output from gimx says that 900º mode is enabled but gt sport doesn't want to play ball... is there another setting i need to adjust?

thanks again for the help!!

For the wheel range issue, please post a debug log file with "haptic" checked.

No, it’s ok - it’s me being an idiot. Turns out when you’re in the car, the wheel on screen doesn’t turn as much as the steering actually turns. So it’s all working fine, but my brain doesn’t work fine
