I'm pretty confident the method I mentioned a few posts above will work...
The problem here is that you have the Arduino firmware running on the pro micro, which makes the device appear as a COM port. If you unplug it just before the second click on "Validate", and replug it just after, then gimx-loader should see the bootloader COM port appearing. And again, the CP2102 side of the adapter should also be connected to the computer (this is essential to have the bootloader triggered).
