Setup question

Post by lostfate »

So I am trying to get a osw wheel and bodnar board based pedals to work on PC for forza.
I have updated the launcher to EMUG27PC, installed the Logitech profiler software and created a configuration and set the wheel and pedals to axis and paddle shifters to buttons. with Type selected as g27/ps3/pc.

After starting the launcher it loads up with this as the last lines
FFB gain: constant=100 spring=100 damper=100
Timer resolution: min=156250 max=5000 current=5004
rounding timer period to 9507
Warning: skipping unsupported command SET_DEFAULT_SPRING

When I launch the game no wheel or pedal inputs register when trying to assign input.

Hmmm that's weird. Could post a log file please?

Did you disable combined pedals in Lgs?

I forgot to ask you, which adapter do you use? Official or DIY?

Does any device appear in the device manager after clicking on Start in gimx-launcher?

yes, a g27 racing wheel usb and g27 racing wheel usb (HID) appear

So when looking at the device manager the G27 wheel also had a yellow triangle, I told it to update driver and then restarted the program and the triangle was gone. I tested in game to see if I could map the controls and the gas, brake and steering worked. paddle shifters did not register still though. Not sure if them being assigned as buttons matters or not.

So I got everything to work, My only issue now is the force feedback while the car is going fairly straight has some jitter to it, small jerks left and right.
