Well, I went ahead and bought it before reading that and good news I don't get the error message. Problem is I run into more issues that stop me from doing anything whatsoever. Now I have it where I get the "gpio failed to set priority class" message. Then when I got it to stop doing that, it asks me to hold the home button to activate. I do, and nothing happens and it just sits there. Whole bucket of fun.

Yeah, and as the light is on I'm able to move stuff around on my Xbox. Just nothing happens, it finally got passed the "gprio" and have this stuck instead.
Tried it on both a laptop and a desktop with the same end result.
