I just put together my gmix adapter and this keeps popping up. i have switched around wires and such but nothing seems to stop it.

Hi Coleryannn,
Currently Gimx can only work with the first gen Xbox one controller (without 3.5 audio jack). Which controller you use with gimx?

with my Xbox one (s) I use the second gen one with the audio port. Is that causing my problem?

Yes. V2 is not (yet) supported

If you want to use it on Xbox One then yes.
