gimx no adapter detected

I've tried switching the red and yellow too..

Wiring is incorrect, you have connected GND to 3.3V on the CP2102 adapter.

I was using the diy wiki for dummies + a video tutorial. So basically I had the wires on the top instead of the bottom?

NEW SETUP:
https://i.imgur.com/n74MQR5.png (switched from top pins to bottom pins)
https://i.imgur.com/1IayC6B.png ( i switched the wires from the bottom row to the top row after examining the diy photos again)

Correct?

Remove the electric tape and do the wiring based on the labels on the board.
