need help on controller connectivity

Post by ali.soltani »

Hi
When I saw the gimx functions I made a new layout with my raspberry pi and a pro micro board with my xbox one

Xb-> atmega 32u4 ( tx,rx,gnd) -> rpi3( rx,tx,gnd)

After installing gimx and connecting up I found out that my xbox one controller has associated with raspbian with name of js0 witch is wrong.

After some search I found the gimx God!!! (You the maker)

Can you help me?

Is there any one to answer me?
I think I got something.

Is it possible to run gimp without that firmware update ?
Because I have one raspberry pi and it's my personal (the only) computer and I need its wifi.

It was Christmas time so we were spending most of time with our families you know.

Update firmware using Windows PC and then you can run it offline on pi.

This is absolutely fine.

It cannot work without the right firmware.

If your atmega32u4 is still running an Arduino firmware, you can try using the Arduino builder software. Beware, this will only work once (the GIMX firmware does not include the Arduino loader). This alternative tool was removed from the wiki as it has issues working on some Windows versions.

If you have any further issue, please add a log file.

Sorry if I bothered you.
In Iran we don't have Christmas but we have Norooz.
Don't worry about me. Take your time.

I think that the Atmega 32 u4 is ok
I had flashed it with avrdude.
By firmware I ment the usb issues with raspberry pi and that update code that you putted on wiki.

With some try, it worked but I had some config issues
And after that all of my hope went off and it wasn't working again.

I am going to flash another sd card because I don't have another raspberry pi and as I sed it is the only computer I have and I need wifi.

God will help you for your service.
Don't let it down.have fun and enjoy your Xmas.
Wish me luck.

P.S.: what do you suggest for the mouse lag?
That time it worked , mouse movements had lot of lag at same period of time.(update period was 4 ms)
And I can get raw data in project spark game.

No problem :)

Use mouse calibration feature to make a good mouse config - https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Mouse_Calibration

Higher DPI of your mouse the better.
