Weird "gimx.exe stops responding" error

Hey,
Been trying to use my GIMX to play with KB+M on both PS3 and PS4 (Xbox One once I get a non 3.5mm jack controller) and I keep getting this strange issue. As long as I keep mashing buttons and/or moving the mouse around everything works fine, but after about 7 seconds of not doing anything the cursor changes to the rotating waiting one and on the next key press, Windows shows me the "gimx.exe stopped responding" dialog, asking me to let it sit or close the program.
At this point no more inputs are being fed to the console, including any from a plugged in controller (say the DS4 in the case of PS4 emulation). Letting it run doesn't really seem to do anything as on the next key press, the dialog comes back. The PS4 doesn't show the controller disconnected message until I restart gimx.exe, after it's closed the console is still under the impression a controller is still plugged in.
Not a single error in the console apart from the gprio error which seems to be irrelevant. It's just stuck there.
Ran GIMX with debug mode enabled, this is the resulting trace: https://mega.nz/#!dQUijDgQ!zYG83iUbxgOm ... 6olmCYrt0Y
I press cross then let it sit for 8 seconds then Windows detects a freeze. It doesn't seem that the freeze impacts the wall of debug, so I reckon it cuts short when I kill the process.
Don't know if I missed something obvious or if something in my setup is wrong.
Configuration:
Windows 10 x64
gimx-launcher 6.9 x86_64
PS4_Battlefield4_Foxy.xml
GIMX adapter from GIMX shop, flashed with EMUPS4
DS4 rev 2
PS4 Pro
All connected to a USB 3.0 powered hub that doesn't seem to choke as my USB soundcard still works during the entire process.
Thanks for helping me,
Rally
