Novice in need, dfgt, ds4 problem

Post by Adamwag93 »

Hi there everyone,

Bit of a novice to all this not gonna lie but for the sake of saving money and not buying a new wheel thought i'd give this a go.
My problem is , with everything wired up and instructions followed, it keeps telling me there's no DS4 was found on usb ports... Could anyone point me in the right direction? would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

Hi,
Just plug a turned off Dualshock 4 with a micro USB cable, and don't unplug it before you stop GIMX.

hi,thanks I had already had the ds4 in, it seems I had a faulty cable so I've swapped another onto it and that's sorted that thanks.
Another thing, this may be me being stupid but, now i've pressed start, the command prompt saying to press ps controller to activate, I press it but nothing happens?

Do you see PS being pressed when "text" is selected in the "Messages" drop-down menu?

Please provide a new log file as text (not as an image). And press the wheel PS button while generating the log file.
