Game Input MultipleXer

Hi, I'm having an extraordinary frustrating time mapping my g27 to act as a ds4 to play nfs15. Every time I try to detect to map a new button it auto signs button 10 to everything.
I'd be happy to read a more detailed gimxconfig tutorial to work it out myself if there is a link. Or even can someone please share a working xml? I'll share one after I can get it working if none are available.
