G25 on PS4, lost shifter

Hi,
I have a G25 wheel and a PS4. I bought a GIMX adaptor from the GIMX shop, asked to be flashed with the EMUG29PS4 firmware. I followed this guide to configure GIMX on my raspberry 3: https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=RPi. After plugging everything together and running GIMX, everything looks good on the terminal.

HOWEVER, I lost the shifter of my G25 so I cannot activate the device on the ps4 (PS button is on the shifter). What do I need to do?

I thought of switching the PS button to one of the two button on the wheel. I tried to edit the G25_G29 xml configuration but it is beyond my understanding, this is what I found: https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Controller_Maps

Thanks

Well, nevermind. I bought a second hand shifter for few bucks. It works now :D :D :D
The two buttons on the wheel are not mapped, is there any documentation for the XML configuration? I would like to fix it.
Thanks

Hi,

The recommended way to edit the configurations is to use gimx-config.
https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Co ... imx-config

If you are running GIMX headless (with no graphical interface) you have to run gimx-config in a X client session.
On GNU/Linux:

Code: Select all

ssh -X pi@<ip address>
gimx-config
On Windows you may try using Xming.
