I noticed that you changed the device name from "Logitech Driving Force USB" to "Logitech Driving Force".
How did you got the first one?

i changed it from watching a video on youtube when i was trying to get the device to work
Could you please tell me what is the value of the following key in the registry?
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_046D&PID_C294\OEMName
"Logitech Driving Force"

EDIT: also, what is your Windows version?
Windows 8

We have noticed the steering wheel jumps left to right when you drive in a straight line, but not when you are cornering

is this because of the dead zone, or because the force feedback is too strong ?
