I just released GIMX 6.3: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1932
There are a few more changes compared to the pre-release version.
Please try it, and re-post log files if it still does not work.

I realized the spring and damper effect slots are reversed. Maybe this is the cause of the issue.
I'll make a test version that forces spring effects into slot 2 and damper effects into slot 3.

Here's a test version: https://gimx.fr/download/e787865fbe7d9a ... x86_64.exe
It inverts slots 2 and 3, which means that if it works with Driveclub, it probably will not work with WRC5.

Hey, it still doesn't work with Driveclub and still works with WRC. Maybe it's time to give this a rest..?

It looks like I'm the only person out there trying to get this combination working so it's probably not worth your time anyway :D

Looks like the demo does not support the G29:

That guy has the G27. Also the user jc444 confirmed that G29 works with the demo.

So Dirt Rally VR was announced so I went and bought the base game. The good news is that the wheel works with it, together with FFB, but the bad news is that now I could finally spend some time playing and the wheel stops responding after a while. The time it takes to do that varies from a couple of seconds to 15 minutes. I didn't try setting the power settings on usb ports and I am connecting the same DS4 controller I have used to turn on the PS4 to the laptop. Should I use 2 different controllers perhaps? Or will the usb power settings help?

I did run debug mode/output to file and there is nothing that will indicate a problem.

On another note, can you please confirm the the DFGT works fine with no disconnects in Windows? I might give up on this wheel and get the GT if it is confirmed working.
