Xbox one not responding to inputs

As the title states I'm having issues getting my xbox one to respond to keyboard inputs and I can't figure out why. For my setup I'm running windows 10 x64 and I'm using an arduino uno r3 with the atmega 16u2 chip and the sparkfun FT232RL usb breakout. I've followed the tutorials, replaced the libusb-1.0.dll, installed the libusbK driver for the controller, flashed the atmega 16u2 chip with the at90usb162.hex from the xone folder, created a controller config file checked and rechecked the connections from the usb breakout to the arduino, checked that the usb breakout was showing up in the device manager, checked that the xbox one controller was showing up under libusbK usb devices in the device manager and still no response. Also when I run the launcher and hit start and press the home/guide button all my inputs are being registered as seen when started with the messages ==> curses selected but my xbox is not responding. I've also pretty much exhausted all my google search powers and searching these forums so I was hoping someone might be able to help.

Here is the log with pressing the guide button that I've mapped to the keyboard, I have also been pressing the guide button on the controller connected to the pc prior to attempting any inputs, and if it helps my current xbox os version is 10.0.14393.2113, I'm also using a logitech k200 media keyboard and a g502 gaming mouse.

Yep I installed it as the tutorial instructed and still nothing

Try in Linux Mint 18, using a Live USB disk.
It will tell if this is a Windows-specific issue or a hardware compatibility issue.
