Please try attached firmware.
Good suggestion Matlo!

Yes Skaface, if you have some time please try out that firmware. It actually emulates the G27 on a Windows PC! I've been using it to connect my laptop to my desktop, using the desktop as a target, and believe it or not it actually WORKS(for the most part)!!! :o :shock: :D

As Matlo knows, the only issue I'm currently having is that my wheel is not getting any type of Center Spring effect at all. Matlo is looking into it but in the meantime Skaface, since you already have access to a Thrustmaster T500, please test out the attached FW and try to use two different machines....one as the source for GIMX and all your controllers, and the other as the target PC(Windows of course). Let us know whether or not you're getting a center spring effect. If you already have a center spring option built into the GUI settings of your real wheel, please turn it off. Let the Logitech Gaming Software, via GIMX emulation, deliver the effect, and see if it kicks in.

I've tested the last firmware G27 for PC provide by Matlo, and I get the same result too. No spring effect, but it work amazingly well, Forza Horizon 3 is finaly playable with the wheel, despite the spring center off (kinda hard to maintain the car with this condition). Wait for an update from him now.
Thanks Matlo, I thought this will never come to light since your last answer but.....no finaly ;)

Hi there. I found out about this via google search. I am trying to play Forza Horizon 3 PC with DFGT. I looked around this forum and didn't get what this GIMX is about actually. Is it an hardware that we need to build ? In this case -to be able to play forza horizon 3 in windows 10 with logitech DFGT- what exactly do I need and what to do , I think there are many many others on the web which are looking for this solution. It would be very helpful if you can at least point out the basic steps for solving this. Thanks.

Hi, new to this forum!

Following this thread I have built a DIY USB converter (32u4) running the EMUG27PC firmware for my Windows 10 machine (all up to date). This part seems to be working fine, I get everything working, Forza picks up the wheel, everything works as expected apart from the pedals. FFB etc all good.

The accelerator is acting as it's half depressed, brake only brings it back to 0 rather than actually braking. They are set as *not* combined in the Logitech profiler (though I tried with and no luck either). FWIW the windows game controller setting window also shows the accelerator pressed halfway.

I'm not certain which option in gimx-config I need to change to correct this. I include my config, it's an edit of the LogitechDrivingForceGT_G29_W10.xml, though I only changed the button binds (they were really weird for Forza).

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<root>
  <controller id="1" dpi="0" type="G29 PS4">

For the record, using gimx on windows 10 shows my DFGT throttle at 50% with the curses view, on Raspberry Pi it is normal and shows proper pedal use (but now I'm unable to detect PS4 controller).
