Dependencies and building GIMX on debian Stretch

Hi Matlo,

I want to build GIMX so that I may try it out but it seems that the .deb files you build require libwxgtk 2.8 and libwxbase 2.8. Version 3 has been available since the stable release of jessie on April 26th, 2015. Are there any build instructions anywhere that I'm missing? Will GIMX build against libwxgtk3.0?

If you have any suggestions on how I can make this happen, let me know.

Thanks!

Hi,
Try using the refactoring branch. It should build against wxWidgets 3.

Sorry to bump this up again, but after a fresh install (all new hardware) I couldn't find the relevant branch to build against. Can you tell me how I can build it on debian jessie or stretch?

Thanks.

It was merged into the master branch.

Would you ever be interested in releasing debs built against the different releases for debian?

Sadly I don't have enough time for this.
