Win 10 Xbox One joystick not found: X360 Controller (0)

Hi All,

Thanks in Advance for the help.

I get the following message when trying to start the "Check" or the "Start" from the Launcher.

I have the xbox one controller plugged in and it is working, I can click the start button and win 10 prompts me, also in the gimxconfig I can auto detect the contoller and it responds to the button press from the controller.

I cannot seem to find a link to change the drivers to libusbk as suggested in other posts. Also I have tried leaving the controller off and starting the launcher and then started the controller, Switched the rx and tx to see if that made the difference, all to no avail.

The Com3 detects fine in the launcher, so I am stuck.

All help appreciated.

Hi Matlo,

I installed the driver as suggest, renaming the file copying it over and running Zadiag. All went through fine. Controller no longer turns on when connected as expected.

I now get a cannot detect x360 Controller and XInput controller.

The XInput Controller does appear in device manager. I retried swapping the pins over on the RX and TX to see but it still won't work. Also tried a different controller.

On the board In order the pins are as follows:

DTR
RXD
TXD
5V
CTS
GND

So I am using Pins 2,3 and 6...

Thoughts on what to try?

Are you trying to use a controller with 3.5mm jack? If yes, this is the problem. It's not supported yet.

All cables connected are USB.

To controller, from the Teensy to the Xbox One...

You did not answer the question. Does your controller have a 3.5mm female jack connector?
As said on the wiki, controllers with the 3.5mm jack are not supported yet.

Just to confirm,

Does it need to be a fully wired controller or a wireless controller that is plugged in via the USB charge port?
