Connection refused

Post by hypnox »

Hi,

I configured everything following the tutorial. When I start the emuclient the ps3 powers on but the gui-output or terminal-output opens up for 2 seconds then it closes and nothing happens on the ps3.
I ran on the terminal with 'sudo sixemugui' configured it again and I get the following:

Code: Select all

connected

emu_thread: end
emu: error on ctrl psm
cleaning upemuclient: tcp_connect: Connection refused

Ok I fixed this by installing blueman on linux mint. I the gui windows stays up and I can see the connection in the blueman but still nothing happens on ps3, with any config file.

Did you modify the config files to be set to your keyboard and mouse and not the ones preprogrammed in?

Yes I did. Replaced the mouse and keyboard.

The gui responds when I move the mouse or press a key but nothing happens on the ps3.

This could potentially be a problem with stuff missing since you're not using Ubuntu. Matlo will most definitely be able to help you out in that department when he gets a whiff of this thread :)

Please try again as an unprivileged user, and if it still doesn't work, tell us:
- what are the manufacturer and chip version of your dongle (displayed in sixemugui).
- what are the linux distro and distro version

I sadly can't provide support for every distro...

Please try with a Ubuntu 11.04 live cd.

I am looking for a bluecore4-ext dongle. What is the brand/model of your dongle? Where did you bought it?

This device class seems weird!

Please check that the class of the device is set to 0x508 after clicking on "start" in sixemugui.

Also, please try with the ps3 in standby mode (red led on).
