Logitech Driving Force Wireless wheel problem

Post by coastal »

Hi there,

I've got the Driving Force Wireless wheel too but I'm having trouble understanding what firmware I should be using for it. I've placed Steve Marton's gimx_dietpi image (http://www.steve-marton.com/gimx/?p=237) on my Pi and have set gimx on there to use the LogitechDrivingForceWireless_DS4.xml config.

Reading through the tutorials it looks like I need to set the firmware. I'm guessing that I need to set the Firmware to emulate a DS4. Could someone point me in the right direction? Is it the EMUPS4.hex file? My adapter only arrived in the post today so this is my first time at configuring it.

Should i have any concerns getting this wheel to recognised as an input on the Pi?

Thanks

Hello,

Please don't hijack old topics. I created a new one for you.

Also keep in mind that PI support is still experimental. You may encounter problems.

Im not expert with Steering Wheels (i maintain mouse configs) but you can try to emulate G29 wheel, just FFB won't work. Load EMUG29_PS4.hex using gimx-loader and create a new configuration.

Apologies. I'll take a look at creating a new configuration.
