But I'm not asking it to run at 3.3v..? Does the firmware not decide whether the chip runs at 8mhz/3.3 or 16mhz/5v? or is it something on the breakout board? I thought I read that it depends on fw but perhaps I misread? The FTDI board I got is indeed a R. I have another 5v-capable (at least, it work...
