Man I share your frustration. I can't manage to get it working over here either. You using a raspberry Pi? Or using a desktop? Laptop? Tried it on both a laptop and a desktop with the same end result. Pretty frustrating, especially after having to go out and buy two different controllers to actuall...

Even tried using it on my laptop, same gprio cheap happening. What's the damn issue? I've followed all the instructions step by step and I get the same end result.

Yep, did that on all the other controllers before. Nothing changes. Still doing the same "gprio" stuff.

Gamestop, it's a regular wireless Xbox controller, from Microsoft.

What is the USB ID shown by Zadig? 045E:02DD I read something about it being hard-coded on a thread from about a year ago, not sure if it was the same now. It lists it under libusbK in Device Manager, and it did work for windows until I installed the software for libusbK.

EDIT: And if I try and hold the power button it just flashes and turns off after 30 seconds.
