Re: DIY USB adapter error
Not sure if you've tried it this way or not, but this is how I launch gimx on my windows pc. Turn off ps3 Launch gimx, verify com port, and hit start gimx button Turn on ps3 If a controller assigns itself to port 1, reassign it to 2, 3, or 4. Test that bound keys work (w,a,s and d in my case) If you...

Re: DIY USB adapter error
Since the OP resurrected this in a different topic, I figured I'd post in the original to keep things together for others, as well as the benefit of the OP. Gimx does the same thing to me, it won't put the configs into C:\Program Files (x86)\GIMX\configs, instead it puts the files in C:\Users\%usern...

Re: sync Gimx to PS3 without cable.
Also as a note, the USB cable that is required, is really very cheap, about a dollar online, and usually $5 at most retailers, and depending on length.

Re: sync Gimx to PS3 without cable.
I never had any problem using linux (linux mint 11) and bluetooth, and the plus side was that my home button did in fact work. Try mapping it (I mapped it to the home button above my arrow keys), and see what happens. One thing that you need to consider, is that gimx maps the controller, and pretend...

Re: Use a usb headset with your console.
Sorry if I'm resurrecting a dead topic here, but I feel that I can elaborate a little bit on some of the possible configurations you can run to get sound and mic to work on a console. If you don't want sound running to your TV, but want to pump it through your computer's speakers: You can use a simp...

Re: Black Ops 2 Gimx Config / G500 Settings
I did, and the sensitivity is a little high, but I can't quite seem to nail down a good sensitivity. BO2 goes to / is set at the highest (14 in game) Mouse is set to 5700 Dpi, and is running at 1000Hz. I also closed out the SetPoint program. I've used the guide for setting the deadzones and all that...

Re: Black Ops 2 Gimx Config / G500 Settings
Here's what I've been using for Black Ops 2 and my PS3. It seems to work a little better via Bluetooth and Linux, then it does on Windows with the DIY Adapter. http://pastebin.com/Z0KtUVhs I should also note that I encountered a binding issue with this config and my Logitech G15 Keyboard. The bindin...

Hello all
Hello everybody, I use Gimx on my PC for PS3, I am generally a PC gamer; however some friends finally convinced me to start playing some Ps3 games with them, and I just feel weird playing FPS games with a controller. I'm for some reason near obsessed with troubleshooting, so I look forward to hopefu...
