Thanks again matlo one thing though, last night when i finally got it working everything was fine but ive tried it again today and i am having some trouble, my controls have gone strange, only a few keys work on my keyboard and my mouse is taking control over the keyboard(wsda) when i am on the ps3 ...

At last it finally works!! cant believe i had the wires the wrong way round duh,

didn't install drivers from flip because there already installed
the ps3 does register the controller but the controls dont work, and the mouse pointer in the video doesnt show up.

just re tried everything and it still only registers as a uknown device on the ps3, the only thing i can think of is uninstalling/deleting everything and starting again, and i could make a video of it and post see if you could spot anything.

device manager registers it as a atmel usb device atmega32u4 not a joystick and the ps3 sometimes registers it as a joystick but it doesnt work(controls) whether its registered or not
