Uhh nevermind I found the solution. Imma post it here for anyone else.
use dpkg --force-depends -i <the file> and any missing dependencies other than libwxgtk3.0-0v5 you should download using apt install.

gimx : Depends: libwxgtk3.0-0v5 (>= 3.0.4+dfsg) but it is not installable
Whenever I try installing GIMX on my linux mint laptop it always says "gimx : Depends: libwxgtk3.0-0v5 (>= 3.0.4+dfsg) but it is not installable" and I cant seem to fix this.
