Re: GIMX USB Adapter for dummies
Oh man. This is sick. I'm all setup and going good with Linux, but now I can get my buddies setup with GIMx without the hassle of them installing Linux on their PC's and Laptops.
Nice work, McKack!

Re: PlayStation Move Navigation controller?
Oh, okay. I have no idea what that means but I'm guessing it's why the BT address doesn't show in the BT config GUI. Thanks, Matlo.Matlo wrote:It has a BT address, but it doesn't have the same USB identifiers.

Re: PlayStation Move Navigation controller?
I have a new question: I'm up and running with GIMx as documented in this thread, so this question may seem a bit trivial (I'm kind of OCD about things). In the picture below, the Sixaxis box will normally have the addresses of the DS3 and the PS3. Then you set the BT Dongle address so you can commu...

Re: New PS3 Slim - Dongle Issues
Yes, it's a Cubix. My packaging is just ever so slightly different from the one pictured on the website. Here's a picture of it: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v653/SLOYAROLE/DSC00925-1.jpg Also, here's the output from the terminal inquiry: Type: BR/EDR Bus: USB BD Address: ##:##:##:##:##:## ACL ...

Re: PlayStation Move Navigation controller?
Thanks Matlo. Just saw that 0.25 has been released. Hopefully I can update to it tomorrow.
Matlo wrote:The crash is fixed in GIMX 0.25.
The ps nav controller should now be accurately detected in gimx-config.

Re: New PS3 Slim - Dongle Issues
Any possible suggestions?? I suggest you to get a CSR bluecore4 dongle. I can vouch for this one http://www.dealextreme.com/p/msi-tiny-bluetooth-v2-1-edr-adapter-dongle-vista-compatible-11825 . Just came in the mail yesturday (2 weeks from order). The packaging is a tad bit different, but it's a CS...

Re: [LIST] Bluetooth dongles
Okay. Thanks Matlo.
Matlo wrote:Linux is the only known way to tell it.
99.99% of the time the packaging doesn't say if there's a bluecore4-rom inside.
I only saw it a single time on the pluscom packaging.

Re: [LIST] Bluetooth dongles
I have a question for anyone who may have the answer.
Is using Linux the only way to tell if a BT dongle is Bluecore4-rom; or will the packaging say it somewhere on the box?
Thanks.

Re: PlayStation Move Navigation controller?
Thanks for that tip. I'll use that tweak my left stick. The calibration GUI works perfectly for setting my mouse. Thanks a ton for the tech support. Will keep you updated.
