Re: OSW Mmos to PS5
actually I have a question, if the game ( like GT7 ) detected you are using different type of wheel, is the output effect will be different ? so what the FFB data received from G29 / T300 / Fanatec DD pro will be different too ? or actually they are receiving the same FFB data but just interpret di...

Re: OSW Mmos to PS5
If you are doing a new build, would it be possible to remove the "g29_correction: axis address..." debug output or make the log level configurable maybe? It makes it difficult to see the steering rotation changes with this debug output. Thanks again for your efforts here! I'd still like t...

Re: OSW Mmos to PS5
I copied the file over into my GIMX install directory. When I launch I seem to be getting libgimxudp.dll missing error? Any ideas? My initial guess would be a mismatch with the library build versions. I'm assuming you can see libgimxudp.dll in the same directory you put the modified gimx.exe? I'll ...

Re: OSW Mmos to PS5
wasnt there a firmware to emulate a thrustmaster wheel to ps4 too? what happend to that Ok, I had a quick play with this. The firmware was removed from the build script, so I just built it manually and uploaded it to my adapter only to find it wasn't picking up the wheel and pedal axis. I then real...

Re: OSW Mmos to PS5
Can you elaborate on what you mean here? Do you mean you are using the original gimx.exe again? What issues did you encounter? Whilst the 'fix' gets rid of the oscillations, it doesn't come 'free' and is a bit of a trade-off due to mucking around with the FFB near the middle. The settings I gave as...

Re: The controller stops working after 8 minutes
are you using PS4 console or PS5 ? or are you sure your DualShock 4 is the authenticate product ? Oh, I didn't realise the other user wasn't the OP... Looking back, I can see they said they are on a PS4 Slim and in the logs the controller has the ID for a DS4 rev 2 found pass-through device 0x054c:...

Re: OSW Mmos to PS5
Hi, I added the binary required to my github fork. You can download it here: https://github.com/GeekyDeaks/GIMX/releases/tag/v8.0-g29c.1 There are some simple instructions with it. It's not the best installation experience, sorry.... One thing to add: from testing in GT:S I have found that whilst th...

Re: OSW Mmos to PS5
Hi! Unfortunately, you need to recompile using fork I made on github. I appreciate this is not something a lot of users are likely to want to do, so I'll upload a binary release onto github and make some simple install notes when I finish work

Re: The controller stops working after 8 minutes
The main thing is to ensure the DS4 is off before connecting it the PC. If you let it pair directly to the PS4 (e.g. you use it to power up the PS4) it will prevent GIMX using it to authenticate. I usually do the following: 1. turn on PC 2. connect DS4 to PC 3. turn on PS4 with the top button (this ...
