Re: OSW Mmos to PS5
Hey all. One more build pushed to github: https://github.com/GeekyDeaks/GIMX/releases/tag/v8.0-g29c.4 This one tries to simply stretch the lower values being sent to the G29 to help smooth out changes in direction. It uses different parameters to the previous approach, so you will need to update th...

Re: OSW Mmos to PS5
Hi guys. For those of you using DD wheels, Just out of curiosity what degree of rotation do you have your wheel set to? 900º? 540º? 360º? Is it possible to use GIMX to trick Gran Turismo 7 into thinking your "virtual" G29 is set to 540º? If so, how can I accomplish this? I don't mind usin...

Re: OSW Mmos to PS5
I copied the file over into my GIMX install directory. When I launch I seem to be getting libgimxudp.dll missing error? Any ideas? My initial guess would be a mismatch with the library build versions. I'm assuming you can see libgimxudp.dll in the same directory you put the modified gimx.exe? I'll ...

Re: OSW Mmos to PS5
Can you elaborate on what you mean here? Do you mean you are using the original gimx.exe again? What issues did you encounter? Whilst the 'fix' gets rid of the oscillations, it doesn't come 'free' and is a bit of a trade-off due to mucking around with the FFB near the middle. The settings I gave as...

Re: OSW Mmos to PS5
Anyway, have a play and see how you get on GeekyDeaks you are my hero. Your fix works! I have been trying to get Granite Devices and the GIMX devs to address this oscillation issue since May of last year to no avail. I would love to buy you a beverage of your choice if you have "buy me a coffe...

Re: Simucube 2
Hoping this saves someone else the headaches we've been through. Avoid GIMX if you have a Simucube 2. Simucube 2 and GIMX is pretty terrible together. Neither side is willing to put in the time to fix the issues. I recommend opening a support case with Granite Devices. Hopefully if enough people do,...

PS5 Support
Any updates on PS5 support? How confident are the devs that PS5 support can be added to GIMX? Is it a priority? I see there hasn't been much discussion recently in the github issue (https://github.com/matlo/GIMX/issues/672) so just trying to get a sense. Given the issues I'm having with my Simucube ...

Re: Simucube Direct drive FFB
Turbonos, any chance you still have this setup and could supply a log file? There still hasn't been any progress on a fix here. I have a ticket opened with Granite Devices as well, but I'm not getting any help there either.

Re: Simucube 2 oscillations on PS4
Is there a way to try to emulate a different wheel with the PS4 instead of the G29, or is the G29 the only option? Any other things we might be able to try to pinpoint where the issue is? Would the dualsense kernel module/PS5 support (I do have a PS5) potentially make any difference in the future or...
