It seems my issue has come to a close. After reading through FPeeVee's comments I figured out where my issue went. All I needed to do was start my controller and Xbox beforehand, have my adapter unplugged before I plug my controller into my computer and then plug my adapter into my computer and Xbox...

I'll give it a try, here's hoping that if it doesn't work it'll at least work if I hook it back up to my laptop.

Second update, it's no longer working. That's cool, I get it working for about five minutes then it decides to screw itself.

Did you replace the "libusb-1.0.dll" in the GimX install folder before you used Zadig? As I said, you will see this warning even if everything is working good! Thats not the problem! (at least with XONE...) Also MAKE YOURSELF a config file with only several buttons and with your mouse and...

Still nothing is working, cool. Seriously, I don't understand at this point. Nothing anyone has suggested has made a single bit of progress so far. I'm just stuck at the black box that says 'press escape to activate' and then can't go any further than that no matter what I do.
