PS4 will support TCP controllers (?)

Sony recently announced that it's releasing Android and iOS apps that can be used as second screens as well as a "simple remote" for the PS4. I can only assume the only plausible way for this to work would be a TCP connection. Could make for some interesting integration projects if someone were able to reverse engineer the connection / authentication, as I assume Sony will not be making it easily hackable. Probably not big news for true gaming as the title of "simple remote" does not instill confidence in terms of full controller support. Even still, I'll be closely following this - thought others may be interested as well.

So far this is not exciting.

I can connect to my PS4 but can only use the app to enter text on screens that ask for it. Outside of that, not a whole lot of functionality. OH WAIT! I can also press the home button. :P
