Laptop

Hey Guys,
I've been running GIMX on a PC for about a year now, owning on COD, with the dongle set up. I travel quite a bit between 2 locations and rather than dragging a hefty Dell XPS with me, acting as the gimx server, I was thinking about converting a laptop and using external keyboard/mouse.
Is their any gotchas I need to look out for?
