Game Input MultipleXer

Just installed GIMX.. got my dongle all configured.. all set to go but holy cow there are a lot of parameters here.
Aside from digging into the code and looking at the algorithms, is there documentation somewhere that describes what these parameters do or how they affect the controller settings?

I've been wondering about this as well. It seems you just gotta fiddle around with the settings until you feel comfortable. I'm not sure though, I haven't been around for too long.

AH ok. I think what confused me was that there appears to have been a name change in the parameters themselves.. but the code wasn't updated to refelect this.
I.E. Exponent became Acceleration, Multiplier became Sensativity.. etc. Or maybe vice-versa.

Also, I noticed that the application names don't match what's in the tutorials. Is that because I built gimx from scratch using the source?
For example sixemugui became 'Gimx-config'. I also have Gimx-fpsconfig, Gimx-bluetooth and Gimx-serial.

You're right, parameters and app names changed.
And the tutorials need to be updated.

I'm quitting my job soon, hopefully. That'll give me plenty of time to update my tutorials :) I'll see what I can do in the meantime though to update the most crucial parts.
