PS button emulation for the PC to PS3 USB adapter

Hi,
As mentioned here:
http://gimx.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=22, the PS button emulation is not yet supported for the PC to PS3 USB adapter. Any idea when this would be fixed?

No idea. It's not really a top priority right now.

I just downloaded the source code and will check it out. Any hints regarding from where I should start? It would be correct to assume that this is a problem with the firmware?

As a layman who has been looking at everything remotely connected to "PS button" support this seems to fit the bill, I'm not sure if GIMX supports PS Move or not but this seems to be a complete solution.
