Game Input MultipleXer

Been trying to use a gimx with my ps3 but emups3.hex doesnt work. Did get it kind of working using emug27ps3.hex but it's like the dpad is constantly being held down even though in the curses gui it shows no input being sent... So is there a work around to change the dpad threshhold or a working ps3 hex file? Trying to use it with mouse and keyboard.

Emups3 firmware is for mouse and keyboard. Please flash it and provide a log file for investigation - http://forum.gimx.fr/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=691

It doesnt register any events on the console, however when I try with curses enabled it shows me sending me sending the controls but no events register on the console. The emug27ps3.hex does register events on the console but its like someone is holding down the dpad or left joystick to force it to go down. Using a leonardo r3 and ttl diy gimx if that matters... but I suspect I might be using the wrong firmware since using emu27ps3.hex almost works. Trying to play games with keyboard and mouse, any help would be appreciated.

Try pushing PS button first (the one bind to keyboard)

Don't use EMUG27PS3. It's for emulation of steering wheel.

And please let us know how you are loading the firmware.

Tried pressing PS button, which is backspace, with the config I have setup, still didn't work. Curses says it sending the PS button input. Then tried to flash with gimx firmware option under help and retried.Then tried to flash with freemmatics arudino builder, and retried again... Am I just doing something wrong?

There's possibility you may be using outdated one.

I just tried EMUPS3 with a PS3 running firmware 4.84, and it worked. I was using a Dualshock 4 as controller.

EDIT: also worked with mouse and keyboard.

Well I managed to get my diy gimx working with my xbox 360. So my wiring is correct. My PS3 was on custom firmware gonna try a complete reset of my ps3 and see it that fixes the issue. If my gimx is working and the ps3 firmware works for others, then by process of elimination it has to be the ps3. Will post results tomorrow night. Thanks for the help guys.
