Does anyone use a wireless headset with the blue tooth version of GIMX?

And does anyone own turtle beach px5's?

I am researching some wireless headsets.

Just want to get something better than my tv speakers.

anyone have any recomendations (preferably under 250 bucks)

Edit:

There shouldn't be any compatibility issues when you use GIMX right?

I mean you are basically just sending out the same blue tooth signal as the six axis controller.

So technically there should not be any interference.

I've heard good things about ad700 and earforce dss combo. Not wireless, but supposed to be a really good setup.

There's shouldn't be any problems since you're not using it with GIMX per se. As long as all the different BT gadgetry has their own unique address you're good to go, and I can't imagine interference from other BT devices is a big problem or else they probably wouldn't be making those kinds of headsets.

I love Turtle Beach personally, but wireless always turns me off when it comes to gaming so I'm using a pair of good ol' trusty X1's for all my headset'y needs.

These are really good.
I have heard that these wireless headsets are better than the a40 astros in sound quality.

Plus the turtle beaches have presets.

Like you can make footsteps and reloads louder than everything else.

Sound whoring ftw.

I'm using cheapass samsung wep460 bluetooth set,

theoretically it shouldn't interfere with sixemu bluetooth but it seems like mine does.

Whenever I turn on my bluetooth headset, my aim fluctuates into either really slow or really fast aim,

I'm not guaranteeing you that using bluetooth headset would give you the problems but it seems like mine does for some reason.

How does it behave with a real sixaxis?

That is pretty bothersome.

I really don't want to have to go back to using a controller.

But i think it might just be your headset that causes the problem.

The turtle beaches have a base that hooks up to the ps3, instead of a usb plug.
