Game Input MultipleXer

Hey, so I made a GIMX adapter recently to play F1 2016, but there is a slight issue. Every now and then (Like twice in the space of 3 hours), the wheel freaks out a bit, it goes to full lock and the accelerator gets stuck at full - and then it stops a couple of seconds later, but obviously by then I've crashed into something. Now I don't have a clue why it would do this, I imagine the wheel is ok since I have never had this problem before the 19th August when used on PC.

Does anyone have a clue as to what is wrong? I really don't fancy paying for a G29 considering how well the DFGT works other than this one issue.
