Total newbie here but trying to search for answers before asking but I'm stumped. Programmed my USB adapter and the system recognizes commands for like 16 secs and then just stops. I have to restart GIMX. What is causing this?

Code: Select all

Moved to the support section.

The USB cable that is connected to the Dualshock 4 may be defective. Try to replace it.

Wouldn't I have noticing something when playing in wired mode to my PC if that were the case?

(Edit)
I'd like to mention I have also disabled power management features for all USB ports and com port for the adapter. Additionally, I have tried replacing my libusb-1.0.dll file, which helped with a prior issue. (/edit)

Tried polling rates of the mouse at 1000hz, 500hz, and 125hz. Didn't work. Even keyboard stops responding on the PS4.

Tried different cable and still stops after like 16 secs.

I should also mention I tried changing up from USB 2 ports to USB 3 but that made no difference. 2 actually worked while 3 didn't.

The error in the log indicates a connection issue with the dualshock 4.
Try with another computer, this will tell you on which side is the issue (computer or adapter).

I don't have spare PC's. What else could it be?

You can also try with Ubuntu 14.04 or Linux Mint 17.3.

Ok I'll give that a shot. Does it have to be 14.04 or will any version work? Can it be USB boot?
