Game Input MultipleXer

DS4 works for PS4 games on PS5. I'm using it.

I have tried both GT Sport and Dirt Rally 2 but I always have problems with disconnections after 8 minutes.
On PS4 everything is ok instead.
I use gimx on rpi3. Do you use gimx 8 on PC?

Yes, wheel emulator is not working on ps4 games (on ps5) atm. You will be disconnected every 5 - 8 min.

I see people using the DriveHub are having the same issues.

Their workaround is to use a 3rd party wired PS4 controller (e.g. Hori) and then they no longer get kicked out after 8 minutes.

This is obviously a workaround for PS4 games being played on a PS5. Whether it will continue to work on native PS5 games I do not know.

As I said before Sony is blocking this way for several new titles.

Yes I understand what you've stated previously.

I'm just saying that this appears to be the fix for GT Sport on PS5 currently.

Clearly moving forward there requires further work to combat Sony or else GIMX & DriveHub will be dead in the water. Fingers crossed.

So i read a comment earlier about a user pairing up a GIMX and a Drivehub + Hori controllers to connect up. Is this actually a way of going about this? I just purchased a SC2 PRO after selling my DD2 which COULD have used with a drivehub. GT7 around the corner im seriously itching to get it running on my SC2. Somewhat regretting making the switch over at this point.

Just so i know, am i right in saying my only option right now is to purchase GT7 on PS4 and use a GIMX? Bit of a bummer if true. I literally decided to keep my PS5 literally for GT7

I'm in same boat as you, I sold my DD1 to move to SC2 now i'm sort of regretting it, I have a Drive Hub at home and a GIMX so will try the method someone suggested with connecting the GIMX to the Drive Hub
