GIMX version 0.51

PS3 Slim 120 GB CECH-2004A

After "flush timeout set for 01:02:03:04:05:06: 16" GIMX stopped lagging ;)

This is good news!

It would be great if others could confirm that it works, so that I can add a fix in the next release :)

Note: the hcifto command has to be run after each connection (after each start of emu).

It would be nice if someone reproducing the issue could try the following:
  • start emu (do not start emuclient)
  • in a terminal:

    Code: Select all

    emuclient -c <config.xml> --force-updates -r 11.25
  • see if it lags...
(in Ubuntu 12.10, without setting the flush timeout)

Code: Select all

kuba@kuba-1001PXD:~$ emuclient -c <config.xml> --force-updates -r 11.25
bash: config.xml: No such file or directory

You actually have to replace <config.xml> with the name of your config file (the file that you select in gimx-bluetooth).

Example:

Code: Select all

emuclient -c PS3_Crysis2.xml --force-updates -r 11.25

Code: Select all

kuba@kuba-1001PXD:~$ emuclient -c COD4.xml --force-updates -r 11.25
option -c with value `COD4.xml'
option -r with value `11.25'
force_updates flag is set
It doesn't fix the delay.

I built test packages to be tested against Ubuntu 12.10:

It doesn't work right. Gimx freezes every few seconds.

Did you had such freezes when manually setting the flush timeout with the hcifto command?
