Hello, I was wondering if you could possible post some normalized parameters for M.A.G.?

I don't have this game, and I didn't planned to buy it...

I will try to provide some advanced calibration tools with the next release, and hopefully people will compute & share normalized parameters for more games.

What do you consider normalized values by the way, Matlo?
Circle test results in a perfect circle?
Dead zone at the bare minimum even though the aim skips when moving the mouse slowly, or when it moves without jittering?
Exponent where it doesn't feel too slow but not accelerating as well (1:1-ish)?

I think I spotted a M.A.G demo. I wouldn't mind giving it a go. I don't know if it'll be normalized but I can provide a standard WASD config.

Normalized parameters means that we get the same movement for every game.
1:1 is the most obvious reference, so that I think we should take it as the norm.
1:1 requires the circle test to make perfect circles, and no acceleration at all (positive or negative).

Concerning the dead zone, I think we have to consider the bare minimum, unless we can give another definition of a "normalized" dead zone and have some deterministic way to compute it (i.e. a proper calibration test).

A normalized dead zone could be defined by the same speed for the first position. A calibration test could be written for that: position 1 applied over a certain amount of time, resulting in a 360°.

Ah alright that sounds great. To be honest this stuff goes over my head a bit. I was fiddling with it for a couple of hours and didn't know if there was a faster way of doing it or not (lots of trial and error). Thanks for the replies!

I suggest you to try the BF:BC2 normalized parameters: link.

I hope this helps.

Mhm, BF1943 runs on the Frostbite Engine so it should be pretty much the same.
First thing I'm gonna do when I get some money is donate, then get a copy of that elusive BF:BC2!

Battlefield 1943 uses a lower sensitivty if you aim down side. (Just as CoD) I have more succes using my black ops x/y ratio's than the bc2.
