The hid descriptor of the sixaxis is broken. Sony probably did that to prevent it to work out-of-the-box with PCs. But you can find it on the web. You also can ask it to your own sixaxis

It's not as easy as changing the VID+PID, you also need to reply to every usb request, even non-standard ones.
