Yes. This will allow me to compare the difference between the Ubuntu versions.
I can't do it myself as I don't have a slim PS3

i could do the number 2 only, but using the latest linux mint, mint 14...
if u had a friend that owns a slim version that would be a lot easier if u could see it...
i have a netbook with mint 12 and i use it specialy and only for gimx, i just wish i could have it in my main pc too

I really need the 3, and made with the exact same hardware.
It's easy to make a usb drive with the 3 versions, for example using
YUMI. This allows to run multiple Linux version without installation on the hard drive.

Setting the flush timeout seems to fix the issue:

it works great for 5~10 minutes then freezes for 5 minutes then works again and so on...
at least the lag is fixed, you are almost there, thx for ur effort
