RPi 2 + PS4 + Driving Force GT + DIY USB

Post by dunifi91 »

Hello
I have installed GIMX with the RPi Tutorial in the Wiki. (command line)
My problem is that when I type

Code: Select all

gimx -c LogitechDrivingForceGT_G29.xml -p /dev/ttyUSB0
the output is

Code: Select all

option -c with value `LogitechDrivingForceGT_G29.xml'
option -p with value `/dev/ttyUSB0'
native mode is already enabled for HID device 01:01:03 (PID=c29a)
Detected USB adapter: G29 PS4.
using default refresh period: 5.00ms
I/O warning : failed to load external entity "/home/pi/.gimx/config/LogitechDrivingForceGT_G29.xml"
could not parse file /home/pi/.gimx/config/LogitechDrivingForceGT_G29.xml: No such file or directory
read_file failed
read_config_file failed
so this is because there is no .gimx directory in /home/pi/. But why is there no .gimx Directory? I know that this directory is normally hidden but in my case it's really not there.
I hope you can help me?

I started GIMX via gimx-launcher in the graphical Desktop environment and then the Directory was made and xml file was downloaded and is right there.

I saw in some post that ffb may not work on rpi. Is it true for all version or gimp is working flawlessly with the new rpi 2? Thanks :D

I did not test the Pi 2. I only have a Pi 1 B and a Pi 1 B+.
