Matlo,

I've tried the options you indicabas, although the above does not really do what had shown that he had come to try and indicate your instructions.
I fail to understand that I'm running or step that is missing to make it work.

Under steps and repetitions, but never get it to work or activate.

Code: Select all

unix@iunix:~/GIMX$ gimx -t DS4 -c PS4_KillZoneShadowFall.xml -h 0 -b B0:05:94:68:96:4E
option -t with value `DS4'

option -h with value `0'
option -b with value `B0:05:94:68:96:4E'
using default refresh period: 10.00ms
When you are at this point you just have to power on the DS4. This is explicitly said in the instructions:

Code: Select all

Start the DS4. It should connect to GIMX, which in turn should connect to the PS4.

When I'm in the process I start following the DS4 command or log the PS button = "x"?

Code: Select all

unix@iunix:~/GIMX$ gimx -t DS4 -c PS4_KillZoneShadowFall.xml -h 0 -b B0:05:94:68:96:4E
option -t with value `DS4'
option -c with value `PS4_KillZoneShadowFall.xml'
option -h with value `0'
option -b with value `B0:05:94:68:96:4E'
using default refresh period: 10.00ms

I believe you don't understand how it works.
You have to turn on the real DS4 so that it connects to GIMX.
GIMX needs to have a real DS4 connected all the time.

I have the DS4 control connected at all times and I'm in the following situation:

Code: Select all

unix@iunix:~/GIMX$ sudo ./gimx-ps4-helper.sh
Unplug any Dualshock 4.
Unplug any teensy.
Unpug the bluetooth dongle.
Then press enter.

Plug the bluetooth dongle.
The bluetooth dongle address is 00:09:DD:50:86:80.
The bluetooth hci number is 0.
Plug the DS4 with a USB cable.
The DS4 address is A4:15:66:83:98:58.
Unplug the DS4.
Plug the teensy.
Unplug the teensy.
Plug the teensy to the PS4, and wait a few seconds.
Then plug the teensy back to the PC.
The PS4 address is B0:05:94:68:96:4E.
Everything was successful: setting dongle link keys.
To run gimx, type:
gimx -t DS4 -c config.xml -h 0 -b B0:05:94:68:96:4E
unix@iunix:~/GIMX$ sudo service bluetooth stop
stop: Unknown instance:
unix@iunix:~/GIMX$ sudo hciconfig hci0 up pscan
unix@iunix:~/GIMX$ gimx -t DS4 -c PS4_KillZoneShadowFall.xml -h 0 -b B0:05:94:68:96:4E
option -t with value `DS4'
option -c with value `PS4_KillZoneShadowFall.xml'
option -h with value `0'
option -b with value `B0:05:94:68:96:4E'
using default refresh period: 10.00ms

I keep trying ... and different bluetooth ..

The micro that you plug in the DS4 can't be used, but it's possible to use a usb headset like the G35 from Logitech.
