Did you enabled 'Output>Terminal'? It will show you if GIMX sends anything wrong to the PS3.

I made a video showing my problem.
I tried this on both my computers running Ubuntu 12.04 and 11.10, using the latest Gimx build.
As i run my G500 through a USB hub, I even tried plugging it directly to the USB ports, with the same results.

Okay.. i followed your last suggestion mapping the ADS button (RMB) to another buttun (6).
I did not change the profile trigger.
In this setup everything was just fine, no shift in aim point.
I changed the setup so that I have a different button for ADS than the profile change, and when just changing profile while not touching the mouse, noting happends. As soon as i move my mouse, even a tiny bit, the aimpoint shiftes just like in the video.
I logged the output from the session.. It dont make any sense to me, but maybe you can make sense of this:
So I'm thinking something is happening whilst changing the profile, so here goes my setup:

It seems to be present since version 0.21, which was released in May 2011

Upgraded to the latest sixemu_0.42-1_i386.deb package, tested on Ubuntu 11.10.
So far everything is working great
The only difference I notice is that a Emuclient terminal window is popping up when starting the client. There's no output in the window.

As I mentioned earlier, i just came from the PU EEC, and I must say that Gimx is giving me much better 1:1 feel and more precise aim when quickly turning on target. I'm still working to get my BF3 settings perfect (for me) both for infantry, vehicle and jet/heli. I'll post my config again when done
