There are many issues with BF3 aiming mechanics, even on PC: link.

These issues will hopefully be fixed by the next patch: link.

I must say, the vid you've uploaded shows pretty smooth mouse movements compaired to what i experience
I think that i've tried to tune every parametre but have had no luck with the mouse lags.

Now i know of a couple of reasons to why that might be:

1. Running on BT, so interferrence disturbing the BT signal.
2. Got a bran new G500 mouse, but might not be correctly installed in linux.
3. Well, dont know about this, cant see how I can get it wrong, but there might be something I'm misunderstading...

I've tried with dead zones between 20 and 40~Best result around 30 and the other values, I have turned up and down after setting a deadzone (I've allso tried the settings people on this site has postet) - but untill now - no luck.

McKack do you run with Serial or BT connection ?
Anyone playing BF3 on BT connection ?

** I know the game's bugged - But what i experience cannot be a bug alone - not when McKack's game in beta can run as smooth as it does :)

From what I've read the aiming on ps3 is really bad: link.

Video showing the latency issue:

It seems that a temporary fix is to use 576p...

Yeah I've noticed a horrible input delay in BF3, it's partly why I've been hesitant about posting any updates to the config, hoping they will fix the aim before I complete it.
I'll have to check that 576p thing out, good find.

@linuxn00b
I did mostly big/fast movements in the video. It's hard to see the jitters then, but they were there believe you me. I run serial and I'm currently using a deadzone of 36-38. Sometimes it almost feels like I need to use a higher deadzone for vertical aim than horizontal, even with a proper multiplier and x/y ratio.

I recently signed up on TwitchTV and have been playing with the idea of doing some streaming of GIMX usage (bonus being me toying around with calibration live!)
This is basically to be able to capture a lot more footage, not having to worry about harddrive space which has become an issue lately (I've been uploading much less to YouTube than I'd like to, and I can do that directly from TwitchTV)

Feel free to subscribe if you want a notice when I go live.

Is it even possible to get rid of the jitters when moving really slow?

There's no way the latency is a bt related issue as it's fine with 576p...
